The litter box enclosure does a good job keeping the area clean. It is an improvement off of the piece that it replaced. Hinges are better made.

We needed a side table to put our air purifier on, and had been kind of looking for several months and not finding anything quite right. I stumbled on this one just while browsing the internet and I knew right away this was the one. It arrived this week and we (including our herd of cats) could not be happier.

My husband assembled it, but I asked him if it was easy and he said it was and that I would've been able to do it no problem. He also commented that he thinks it's sturdy enough to stand on (although I definitely won't be testing that, LOL).

The table is attractive laminate, with sisal cat scratcher pads on one side of the bottom and each side. It can be assembled with all of the sisal facing out, all of it facing in, or in whatever combination you like. In our case, we needed one side sisal-out (hoping to distract the cats from the side of our sofa which is nearby), one side sisal-in, and the bottom sisal-in. This flexibility of assembly is great. It can also be oriented so that the sides become the top and bottom, if you wish, resulting in a slightly lower, longer table (like as a small coffee table).

Just FYI, the laminate on the driftwood colored one is not quite as blonde as some of the manufacturer pics look. I would say the name "driftwood" is very accurate...it's light colored with a touch of grey tones. The color name and my pic are more accurate color-wise than the manufacturer pic with the orange cat.

I would highly recommend this side table if you have cats and want an attractive, functional table.

Designer Pet Products customer service is by far the best experience I’ve ever had as a pet owner. After an accident, I was looking to replace a damaged lid of the cat box enclosure litter box. My wife and I thought that we’d have to replace the entire unit on Chewy, Amazon, or (even worse) create a massive carbon footprint.

It was a shot in the dark, but I filled out the contact us form with all of the details, product numbers, and pictures attached. Within 24H, I received a timely response from a customer service representative (she totally deserves a raise btw…). Within 48H, she was able to find the spare part in the warehouse, send me the order details, and have it packaged & shipped to the house.

Our 4 rescues (Capo, Sunny, Shadow, and Sasha) are no longer confused and very happy cats. Peace of mind restored kudos to Designer Pet Products.

Matches my other furniture. It's sturdy. Because the scratching surface is on the inside... I don't expect their scratching to destroy the look

Just love it! Good quality. With the exception of putting the lid on, I was able to put it together on my own, which is exactly what the directions alerted me about. Cat took to it right away, so my prayers have been answered regarding keeping my dogs from eating kitty snacks. Couldn't be more pleased really.

The product looks like a piece of furniture and looks so much better than our big blue litter box!
Assembly instructions were easy to read.
We bought this product in hopes of keeping our dogs out of the litter box, it seems to work well so far, we have had it for over a week and they can’t get into it.

I love this and wish I had purchased it a long time ago. People mention that they love our "bench" and then they are shocked that it is in reality a cat litter box. I am upset however that I couldn't enter the photo contest because your website kept telling me my photo was too big.

I actually used this enclosure to make a feral cat house that will be kept inside a finished shed, so no contact with the elements. I added 1" rigid foam (also blocks 3 side vents), plus a thin layer of reflective radiant barrier over that and it came out amazing! Added a heat source and the inside is nice and toasty and ready for winter. The box itself was super easy to assemble and the quality really great, everything lined up and it looks really nice and feels solid. I'm so happy with this purchase and hope our feral girl loves it too.

We have an 18 lb cat and she actually fits thru the door. We do have to leave the lid open but at least our dogs can't get to the catbox!

We use this as a place for our kitty's food that our dog can't access. It looks great, and our cat took to it immediately! Great solution for us that didn't negatively impact the look of our home. Recommend!
